Hi, I’m Tracy.

I am an illustrator, graphic designer & marketing professional with more than 20 years of marketing and design experience in the land conservation, media/publishing, food & beverage and healthcare industries. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications – Advertising and a minor in Graphic Design. I am a Charlotte, NC native and currently live in South Charlotte.

I began my career working as a graphic designer at a weekly newsprint publication in South Charlotte where I was promoted to Production Manager and led the graphic design team there.

I continued my work in the roles of Graphic Designer, Production Manager, and Associate Art Director for several years working in fast-paced, deadline oriented environments including Charlotte Magazine and The Charlotte Observer before I transitioned into the world of marketing working in the food and beverage industry at Electrolux Professional.

My graphic design background benefited me as I took on new marketing roles including managing social media, email, website, video and photo shoots, writing news articles for trade publications, tracking and reporting analytics, and traveling internationally and across the U.S. to support trade shows and events.

As a Marketing Manager, I led an international marketing team located in Charlotte and in Manila, Philippines delivering high-quality digital and print marketing assets. I worked closely with C-suite and leadership teams to plan marketing strategies and share regular updates on metrics showing measurable growth results.

I am currently working at Catawba Lands Conservancy and Carolina Thread Trail in a part time role helping manage their social media, website, email, events and graphic design needs. I have been a volunteer with these organizations for the last 2 years and enjoy being able to make a positive difference in the environment and our community.

I get my inspiration from music, film, books, graphic design, illustration, photography, architecture and nature. In my free time, I enjoy illustrating, playing music, kayaking, fishing and hiking.
